Research Library
The Bishop John Jamison Moor Zion Family Library is a membership Research Library and Institution that carries on the legacy of Bishop John Jamison Moore, Saint Benyamin the Moor and his enslaved parents Fannie Riedoubt and John Moor.
In 1852 Bishop Moor founded and operated a church, library, and school, with 50 pupils in San Francisco, California for the AME Zion Church. In 2021, the same library is a part of the Zion Church of the Evangelical Association, as well as the Bishop Moor First Zion Sabbath School.
